When I left my home and headed off to the Gold Coast I vowed I would never live in an apartment. It didn't take too long to realise that I had made a vow I could not keep.

Apartment Living provides some spectacular lifestyle opportunities and after 12 years of living in Apartments on the Gold Coast and in Auckland I now prefer the apartment lifestyle.

Apartment Living is not for everyone and I would recommend before anyone rushes out to sell the home and buy an apartment to try before you buy. There are lots of things you need to get used to and for some people living in an apartment never really takes hold as a viable option to the good old fashioned 3 bedroom home on a quarter acre section.

I have lived in everything from a 40m2 studio apartment right through to a 245m2 penthouse apartment. Each one has its pluses and its minuses.
